This company was founded in 1970 E.C. and is now registered as KG Engineering Private Limited Company. Its head office and fabrication workshops are in prime location of Addis Ababa capital city of Ethiopia two of the workshops as well as the head office is located in Gofa Gebriel/Mazoria and the third workshops is in the industrial area of Akaki kality.
Over the years we have continually invested in equipment to met the need of our very diversified client base.
We have one of the largest custom machine workshops in Addis Ababa that is equipped with conventional machines for repair and maintenance work, and CNC lathes, mills and a large boring mill for production runs. Our cutting and forming department is also equipped with CNC brakes to ensure quality in our fabricated components.
A number of the staff has been employed with the company for many years and all trades are supported by a highly qualified, professional management team. Our engineering team works with solid works card software to assist our clients with their engineering requirements. This allows jobs to be modeled and tested to ensure they meet the standards the customer is expecting.

With the latest machineries and state of the art manufacturing facilities KG has collaborated with European company and established a sister company called KIG Engineering PLC in manufacturing different types of cranes with different capacity for nationwide mega projects and factories in the country.
This makes KIG Engineering the first crane manufacturer company in Ethiopia as well as East Africa. Within its first year it has managed to manufacture and deliver over 15 gantry and overhead cranes capacity from 5ton - 15ton. In the near future KIG plans to export to different parts of the continent, especially to eastern & central Africa
