KIG ENGINEERING Private Limited Company is specialized in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of Overhead crane, indoor and outdoor Gantry crane and Jib cranes. The company is located in the industrial area of Akaki Kality, Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia.

Our plants equipped with advanced processing equipment and owns strict quality management system to ensure a high quality crane for our clients. Our crane system crane kits such as electric hoist with full accessories are imported from STAHL CraneSystems German based company whom we are the Ethiopian agent for. Stahl produce standardized crane components up to 125t capacity.

Overhead crane
Single girder overhead crane

European type single girder overhead crane with monorail hoist, which is designed and fabricated according to Europe and Germany FEM/DIN standard, have such design concepts as small dimension, light dead weight. Compared with traditional cranes, the limiting distance is minimum from hook to wall, and headroom is the lowest, which makes cranes work more close to the front, and lifting height more higher that increases effective working space of workplace.

Double girder overhead crane

FEM/DIN Double Girder Overhead Crane With Open Winch Hoist offers you the performance you need from standard to advanced. They offers a load and duty class range that comprehensively covers the requirements of customers in a wide range of industry applications. It can lift from 5 to 320 tons and is designed for process duty. Thanks to its compact approach dimensions, space in the factory layout can be used more efficiently.

Jib crane
Wall mounted jib crane

Wall Mounted Jib Crane is widely used to control or position a load in areas that are generally inaccessible to other material handling equipment. They are designed to provide reliable long-life performance with minimum maintenance, it requires a strong wall or column structure to fit it and degree of rotation is lesser than that of Mast style and Free standing jib cranes. Motorized and Manual type as options for trolley travelling and Jib rotation.

Wall-travelling jib crane

Column mounted jib crane is free standing jib cranes are designed to stand on the floor ground, not by any other support but by themselves. It consists of a pivoting vertical column and a horizontal load supporting boom.
Wall traveling jib crane is mounted horizontally on the wall or other support structure instead of a vertical column, it travels along the rail orbit of a multilayer assembly shop. Motorized and manual type as options for trolley travelling and Jib rotation. It can make full use of the workshop space and the size of traveling rail can be designed based on the users requirements. It is widely used in the workshop of machine manufacturing and assembling.
